Statement of Faith

At Generous Classroom, we believe that Biblical Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) is essential for forming Christlike character in both children and adults. 

Rooted in Scripture, Biblical SEL nurtures the heart and mind by cultivating competencies such as self-awareness, self-management, responsible decision-making, relationship skills, and social awareness. 

These competencies are all through the lens of God’s truth and grace. We believe that these skills are not only vital for emotional health and academic success, but are also spiritual disciplines that reflect the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23).

Living generously—through our thoughts, words, money, time, influence, attention, and sharing our belongings is
a tangible expression of God’s love at work within us.

It creates classrooms and communities where grace abounds, connection deepens, and Christ is glorified.
