Self-Awareness
God’s word says we are new creations in Christ! This belief shapes how we understand our emotions, feelings, and thoughts, impacting our behavior. This life-changing shift fosters a confident, Christ-centered identity grounded in who God says we are.
- Recognize thoughts, feelings, and emotions through a biblical lens.
- Develop a sense of purpose by learning to lean into His wisdom and will for our lives.
- Establish a habit of gratitude, acknowledging that all good things come from Him.
- Embrace challenges and develop a growth mindset.
- Foster a Christ-centered identity with biblical knowledge.

Social-Awareness
God wants us to love each other as we love ourselves. We follow Jesus’ example when we have compassion and empathy for others' perspectives and diverse backgrounds. We can let His great love for us be the jumping-off point to loving and celebrating those around us.
- Actively listen and seek to understand others by following Jesus’ example.
- Value and affirm the strength and gifts God has given to others.
- Foster strong relationships built on trust, love, and respect.
- Demonstrate empathy and compassion by responding to the needs of others with kindness and respect.
- Show and express gratitude for others through interactions.
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.

Self-Management
When God renews your mind, He transforms our lives. Letting Him change how we think helps us understand how to manage our emotions and behavior — including delaying gratification, having a growth mindset, and managing stress. Recognizing that our actions impact others helps us to manage our relationships and build a loving community.
- Manage and regulate emotions while recognizing that all emotions are valid.
- Identify stress and invite God to help navigate difficult situations.
- Set personal goals that align with God’s will and Word.
- Use planning and organization skills to be good stewards of time and resources.
- Demonstrate grace and forgiveness while learning how to make wise choices.
For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

Relationship Skills
God shows us how to love and forgive each other while building healthy relationships. His Word helps us understand how to establish and maintain compassionate and supportive relationships. Following His lead, we begin to reflect Christ’s love through good communication and collaboration.

- Learn how to resolve conflicts with peace and forgiveness.
- Embrace servant leadership and lead others by example.
- Stand firm in conviction and resist negative influences.
- Recognize that every person is made in God’s image and celebrate the unique ways He has created them.

Responsible Decision-Making
God enables us to make the right decisions that align with His good, pleasing and perfect will. Understanding that God is working in and through us changes how we see the impact of our choices. Our positive or negative decisions impact our behavior and social interactions.
- Seek God’s guidance through prayer and Scripture when facing challenges.
- Acknowledge that critical thinking skills are essential for both academic and real-world situations.
- Apply discernment in thoughts and decisions.
- Reflect on roles in the community.
- Carefully consider the consequences of decisions, ensuring they reflect God’s love.
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
